helped out at the auditions on sat, wore bad fitting shoes..sakit like mad!! so got a replacement shoe, a silver coloured one on sale at $20!! just another excuse to get another pair of shoes...hehehe

i feel that if i'm a blog reader, i'd rather look at pics and read a bit on the posts...hehehe..so here are some pics...

taken at library at work...not stars fell from the sky...but they stuck the plastic stars on their door as decoration, guess the library boys decided to scatter them stars on the floor as a change...they pretty tho!!!

this was the new type of fries from LJS, had it for lunch last week. its yummy tho the chips are actual potato chips, i'm talking about crispy, thinner than normal french fries chips with thick cheese sauce...need a bit of getting used to. i had the fish wrap meal with extra tartar sauce of course...yummy!!

i dunno if u can see this...its right below my watch strap...its a mosquito bite shaped of a love!!! think i got bitten by a love-sick mosquito!! hahaha..!!

update on the audition last Sunday...i reported at 8am (as stated) but there werent anyone around!! ppl started 'strolling in' at 8.30am...i even had time for b'fast at Mac's...the longest day in an event cause 98% there, we sat down...felt so unneeded, unproductive, takde makna!! so lesson learnt, this saturday's event, i'm going to stroll in at 8.30am..got to beat the habit of arriving early in events for this one time...

the audition was interesting tho, met 2 of my sec schoolmates...one still looked the same and the other one looks so much older then the stipulated age...both there participated. we had 10 contestants more than the total from the previous day. there were a few interesting characters...macam macam pattern..but i must say they do have the courage to do it...ambik courage tu dari Wizard (of Oz) tak?? hehehehe

have been eating and eating for the past few days...took pics of course...hehehe

1 egg prata and 1 plain prata soaked in curry...mmm mmm...

chocolate mint cake...from colleagues Zalinah's & Cik Marinah's (belated) mini b'day celebration we had during lunchtime...

mudpies...yummy !!! (both of mudpies are not for me...the other one is Lin's cause she had a mudpie craving...i hope she doesnt drool anymore...kidding!!)

change of environment is good right? i guess when change comes knocking, we adapt to them...but if the change promotes more political behaviour among those affected..sigh...

p.s - remembered one joke during lunch about a colleague wanting to find the bird that pooped on his shirt...sooo farnie!! he didnt want to break the bird's neck but to poop on the bird's face..tit for tat...animal cruelty i tell u !!! it was just a joke btw, he didnt actually do it...but the way he acted it out...man...i was laffing and had tears in my eyes imagining it...hahahaha....

had a long day today...went to gym - tho only did the 11.40am Pump class cause i reached late!! (knowing i was already late, perut pulak hungry...so i popped by BK to alas tummy...see pic...hehehe) when i finally arrived to class, the instructor signalled & asked me if i slept so all i did was smile cause i was on the other side of the glass door. but did stay a while in the sauna after work-out and i'm hoping my body dont ache tomorrow...

after gym, me and my gym buddy called for a cab to baby Safia's cukur rambut at Telok Blangah. she sooo cute!! fitted snugly when i carried her in my arms...wait...i tink all babies fit snugly in my arms cause of the 'natural comfy pillows'...hehehe at 2.30pm, gym buddy had to leave. i was alone waiting for the rest of my colleagues, from 3pm to 4.10pm...waited cause we planned on going to a wedding after the cukur rambut and i needed to sign the card for baby Safia...anywayz check this pic out...

after the kenduri, took a lift from Diana and bf to Simei CC for a wedding. sungguh menyelerakan cause our guess for mutton beryani was right!! makan dan makan lagi!!! hehehe okay, early day later...reporting time at IMM 8am. madness i tell u...sunday sunday pergi IMM at 8am!! hopefully it will be a great day...boleh tengok orang orang...hehehe

p.s - have u ever felt like your heart sank to the bottom of the bottom? u just feel like burst out crying? sucky feeling...is it premonition?? instinct?? or just trippin trip?? whatever it is...theres a reason for evething... :)

i had a shock when i opened my eyes for the second time this morning (by this morning i meant early Thursday morning). i'll usually snooze my alarm (which had a 10 minute snooze time) from 6.01am right until 7.11am (hey, it works for me cause i dont get stressed out by having to immediately waking up and its also a psychological thing...hehehe)

anyway, i did my usual thing and snoozed...and then Mum called to say she bought egg dipped sardine roll for b'fast and left it in the letterbox. that was 6.30am. and the next time i saw when i opened my sleepy eyes was 8.40am!! i panic and immediately thought that its a Saturday and i didnt have to work. but reality (which is a big ass mofo) hit me...its a Thursday. cut story short, instead of rushing and getting a migraine in the mad rush, i reported 1/2 day to work. and to make up for that, sweet sweet colleagues called-in for pizza for lunch and i arrived just in time to show them the March issue of Cleo (the 50 eligible bachelor - btw, MTV VJ Colby is EB No.14)and gobbled down 3 yummy normal crust seafood pizza... *drools* (at pizza and not EB No.14 !!hehehe)

show u this pic which was taken in Perth. this was the last shot i took while waiting for the airport shuttle b4 my batteries died on me. Heres the reason why theres a ring there - 'the ring around the sun is caused by ice crystals within thin cirrus clouds. The refraction causes light to shine into a ring. Cirrus clouds are generally the first layer of clouds that are seen as a storm system approaches...means rain or snow coming soon' (taken from 'theweatherprediction.com') cool rite !! its the real thing, i didnt use a flash or edit this pic...Subhanallah... :)

went to dinner with 2 of my friends...as usual we started cracking up by the silliest of things...it all started with 'si'...si-kat! si-ul! si-food! si-akap! si-bass! then it went on to 'baby'...baby-sit! baby-lon! baby-loo! baby-face! hahaha...

(skin is background in blogging term) hehehe..thanks to Lin, she showed me this skin and i fell in love with it...cause its green!!! i like!! still need a bit of touching up here and there...bear with it for a bit...hehehe went to Jurong Pt after work today and met with Winah & baby Syazzy!!! her cheeks looks like she has nuts hidden in them!! just sooo gorgeous!! and her eyes soo wide and bright!! makes the song - 'starlight so bright' takde makna...her eyes just soo round and bright!! she talked to me when i carried her at Banquet while mama and Aunty Lin had their dinner. but she slept soon after cause she looked so comfy in my arms...but she woke up later cause we walked up to Coffee Bean...hehehe i was still full from my lunch of 'Dry Beef Kuay Teow' & 'Oats Prawn'...

okay...nitey nite now...just 4 more days to the weekend, tho have to work this Sat cause of the 'Skrin' audition...scroll over that to find out more!! its cool tho...this will only mean more time off!! hehehe...

Pesta3x yesterday was cool...after that went to Adam Road with Winah&Hubby and Lin...had murtabak & mee hoon goreng...mamak style of course...with lime juice. met with a sec sch classmate...been near 10 years ago since we met...still recognisable!! it could mean we dont age at all (which i like!!) or we both aged that we still see each other as the last time we met!! hehehe

-listening to 'Super Duper Love' by Joss Stone....time 12.17am, Tuesday morning...'do u want a little bit of my love?? yeah....wait a minute...wait a minute...' had a super duper last last minute unplanned dinner with Serena and Lin...our long awaited sushi dinner!! met them at 7+pm, cause i was late..hehe...and we left the place at 9.30+pm...makan makan dan makan lagi for 2 1/2 hours!!! cause it was a buffet dinner!!! -notice all the EXCLAMATION!!! cause u kno why, i'm still full!!! i hope i dont dream of sushi later zzzzzz....i dont think i want to have sushi in the next few days or maybe months....but it was great...great food, great company...below pics for your drooling pleasure..hehehe (if u like sushi anywayz..hehehe)

- sushi...and Serena's hand and Lin's fingers holding the chopsticks - chawanmushi (steamed egg with mushroom & fishcake) - teppanyaki squid...with garlic, yummy!! - grean beans (theyr hairy!!!) but very interesting!! never had them b4...thanks to Serena for introducing them to me!! hehehe - mochi. theyr Japanese sticky rice cake...yummy! but theyr not that sticky tho, cause it flopped on the table when i tried sticking it on one of my finger..hahaha okay, nitey nitey nite now....its 1am!! no thinking of sushi...dont want to dream of them!! p.s - i'm so in a post 'Memoirs of a Geisha' mode...cause i can twist my hair with a hairstick, no hairband needed...got 3 different colours last Friday...hehehe!!

• -re-entry...cause i accidently pulled the cord and laptop restarted and previous entry not saved as draft!! ~arghh!!!~ time 3.20am, Sunday morning...song on 'Where are you' by Natalie feat. Justin Roman. 'I'll wait forever how silly it seems...how does he laff, how does he cry...na na na nananana' :)

anyway...i was going on and on about mixed interracial relationships. the Channel showed 3R (respect relax & respond) and the topic of discussion was about being in a mixed relationship/marriage. and coincidentally, the main sister channel showed 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' (move cursor on the title...hehehe) which was about a mixed interracial/religion relationship...so very interracial mode... :)

i was laffing so hard when Ian's parents (Ian is the non-Greek boyfriend turned husband) met Toula's parents or rather her 20 odd family members for the first time (btw, Toula is the Greek side of the story)...they welcomed Ian, whos a vegetarian, and his parents with the grilling over fire of 2 lambs on their front lawn. farnie!!! i just found out that the actress acting out Toula, Nia Vardalos is real-life wife of Ian Gomez (who played Mike, Ian's best friend in the movie)...hes also known as the cafe supervisor in 'Felicity'...yes...that gay totally understanding supervisor. :)

i think a mixed interracial relationship is allrite. i'm not saying its a cool thing, cause what happens when the feeling of exoticness and appeal of being in that relationship wears off? when cool becomes uncool. i'm saying go for it cause if its the real thing, it wont wear off....there are loads of exchanging...thought process, culture, language, food...the main thing for the couple is to learn, accept and compromise on their difference as an individual who grew up in a totally different environment...and make the differences work for them. it doesnt make them any wiser/smarter/better than the other just cause they grow up differently....cause love conquers all...dont it??

sure its hard work...but hey, arent all relationships hard work? is there a guarantee that even with a same race partner it will be smooth sailing?? its just that being in a mixed interracial relationship needs that teeny bit of 'harder work'...someone told me once, if u really want it bad, wish it and think about it every single day...it will happen to you eventually...just be patient. :)

i get mixed comments like 'are you sure?', 'dont do it, it will not happen', 'i dont kno about u, but i'm scared of them', 'can u handle it?', 'go ahead and do it, u'll never kno', 'oh cool..imagine how your kids will look like!!'....thank you :)

but the main thing is 'kita merancang, Tuhan menentukan' kan kan kan kan?? :)

• -video playing on my media player now, S.T.O.R.M.Y namer opening a package i couriered over. which took them too long!!! anywayz, it reached its destination looking 'been thru hell'...all edges bent and original tape opened for 'security purposes'...they didnt even bother to tape it back nicely!!

i mentioned that if i were to work in postal service, checking/scanning thru packages that comes into the country, that would be interesting!! i mean the best thing, we can kepo kepo (be a busybody for the uninitiated) see what ppl give to other ppl...the bad thing, if the thing is a timed bomb, like it will explode once package opened...then that is the end man...*sigh*

had a farewell early dinner with colleagues just now. attached are pics of what i had, the starter , which is like a seafood platter and it also consists of squid!! i mean whole head with tentacles squid!! the flavour tasted like the sushi i had 2 weeks ago. its yummy tho...not thinking of the squid which had been happily swimming until he got caught in the net or whatever they catch squid with...oh man!! ~bad day, bad day~ and the other pic is the masala fish & chips (very filling!! recommended by me~!!but it taste like eating 'wadeh', so if u dont like the taste, i'll recommend the grilled chicken) Starter Whole squid from the meeting Recommended by me 'Masala Fish & Chips'
