-enjoying the silence...well, not exactly silent except for the ticking of my wall clock which needs replacement batteries cause the time showing now is 6.35...when the actual Singapore time right now is 11.44pm...hehehe

i shouldnt put the title as 'Good Day' cause its under-rated. today was 'The Bomb'!!

remember a few entries ago i mentioned about waiting for end May? well, the stress for the wait is lifted by 1/2...cause...i bought my flight tix!!! and i settled my travel insurance payment too...*phew*

went to NWA office with Lin during lunch and bought my tix to San Francisco, USA. lucky she was with me, cause this is my first time planning and doing everything from start...all by myself...she asked questions that i didnt think of, cause of course i was overly excited about getting hold of the tix...in other words, my brain was on holiday mode...hehehe

i was skipping when i left NWA office...*happy...ta ra da da dam...happy*

at work, everyone were treated to a 'prata party' at 5pm, wednesday. it was amazing, they actually brought in the cooks...fresh crispy 4 kinds of pratas (plain, egg, cheese & chocolate) frying on the 5th floor staircase landing!!! the whole works la!! check out the pic...


okay...i'm sooo in holiday mode already cause the last super-long-flight holiday i had was in 2002 when i went to europe with my aunt and cousins...that didnt really registered to me cause it was with family...this time...its me, myself and i.

this is one of the things i want to do *big smile*

met Lin in the train on the way to JP after work Thursday when she saw Eddy, another primary school classmate of ours, waiting to board the train at the next station.

all 3 of us got confused cause we thought he would join us but he wasnt able to and he was signalling us to come out and join him but knowing the rush hour, too many ppl in between us...and so the train door closed.

so me with my bright idea...'Lin, wat say u we surprise him??'

and surprise plan we did...we alighted at the next stop and decided to join him in the next train..hehehe...

we talked and catch up when i looked around and i saw another familiar face who was sitting down...i kept looking at the person and the person did glance at me once, then he glanced again...and then he stood up and joined us.

the person sitting down was Fude, another classmate of mine. Lin recognised him being in the same secondary school.

then me, being the excited me, introduced Eddy & Lin to Fude, 'Fude, meet my primary schoolmates' without realising my voice was teenie weenie LOUD...

how i kno u may ask? cause right after i said that, both primary schoolmates' eyes got extra big...

oops...heheheh

man...the 3 days of off work passed by soo fast!! its Sunday already...where the other 2 days went??

helped out at Suria's Anugerah Concert yesterday nite at Max Pavilion...(thank you Lin!! she bought 6 of my tickets!!!) very targeted group of audience...but i had fun. share with u one incident, i was behind the 'last minute' ticket counter a few hours before the show started and a boy came up to me calling me 'Cik' (its aunty in Malay) !! wa lau!! i told him...'HAH??!! Cik??!! Kakak okay!!' (kakak is elder sis) hahaha...memang tak patut!!

another week ahead...next holiday...May Day!! and that is 2 weeks from now...come on, altogether count down!!! hehehe...

theres a new 'fad' at work, crispy flavoured seaweed munchies. i tell u, they are damn addictive!!! $1.80 at our building's friendly aunty shop at level 1 and 2 for @2.95 at the 'your personal' pharmacy, with a resealable packaging. its not like normal seaweed munchies which sticks on your tongue the moment u put in your mouth, it breaks apart!! i mean its that that makes is so interesting to munch on...

But good things must (i say MUST) come to an end. cause i can now confirm that my tummy acts out involuntary somersaults with pungent (i say melekat pungent) air biscuit. i didnt think the seaweed causes it...but i'm having all these abnormalities tonight when i munched on the 'hot & spicy' flavour after lunch. now it is time to say bye bye to crispy seaweed...

total madness Sunday...estimated 30,000 turned up to see Mister Ari Wibowo. makciks and kakaks totally lost it when the man went up on stage...kids lost their parents, parents told their kids to venture to the stage area by themselves in case they can get access, empty baby prams left on one side... i even saw fans on level 2 of the shopping mall in a restaurant facing the stage...not enjoying their food but sitting down on the floor under the table taking pictures!!

what happened to me u ask? well, i transformed to a monster who raised her voice to excited fans eager to get up on stage but forget they needed the man's poster for him to sign. i wasnt doing it intentionally...screaming fans, screaming colleagues, crying babies...u do the math.

did i meet him? yes on stage.

did i take pictures with him? no i didnt. cause after the event, went to eat and headed home. was dozing off in Mac's while Rosie & Zalinah were still talking...sorry darlings.

oh yeah...selamat pengantin baru to Cik Em...!!! check out her wedding cupcakes...


anywayz...slappen time now...midweek Wednesday..
p.s - did find a new massage place with Lin the other day. after getting rejected by 2 fully packed ones, we finally found an all ladies one which was really cool, simply furnished. i did 1 hour foot reflexology & 1/2 hr shoulder massage...just total relaxation...felt like i was walking on air without any shoulders...hehehe

went to a paranormal tour after work Friday and i just got home like 10 mins ago. time check now 2.50am...

the tour ended at 11.30+pm, but for the first time i went to tanjong pagar railway with 3 other colleagues cause one offered to gave me a ride home. i also went to changi village earlier at 9.30+pm for dinner, first time too!! had nasi lemak from one of the too many nasi lemak stalls there. the nasi lemak yummy, portion filling, price fantastically only $2...of course accompanied with ice milo...syiokedelic!!

experience from the tour, it was allrite. biler lagi nak pergi tempat-tempat macam gitu...there were close to 40 ppl including crew...i can safely say those few hours were the longest i've held a girl's hand...thanks for reassuring me countless time Diana. tip for readers interested to go for the tours, prepare yourself with your personal flashlight/torchlight...very useful.

anywayz, i hope i can meet Mister Ari Wibowo in person Sunday...fellow bloggers/readers, come on down to Plaza Singapura from 2 pm onwards. the first 100 will get an exclusive poster of the man himself and u'll get to have him autograph it on stage!!! :) (sempat promote...now that i have your attention, Anugerah Concert tix anyone?? tix are $18/each!!)
