-did an entry 3 nights ago but when i was saving it, the next thing i kno the page showed 'the blog you are looking for is unavailable'...and by then it was already near to 2am... Crappy indeed!!

anyway, i was talking about reading the 'Today' newspaper on Monday 26th June. The interview with the creator of 'Everybody Hates Chris', Ali LeRoi. He said...

'It's weird being funny because it's a viewpoint on the world. It's a way of processing information...You just look at something, think it's funny and wonder why no one else is seeing it. It's like you have X-ray vision or something.'

I always thought i'm lucky compared to some ppl. Lucky that i see the funny side in everything...not that i dont take anything seriously, but i just see it differently...when i trip and fall, i'll imagine the accidental poses that i do before reaching the ground...

i'm a laffer...and i suck at telling jokes. cause as mentioned to me before, i'll finish the joke visually in my mind first then i'll end up laffing while telling the joke...which makes it not funny anymore. but ppl still laff cause according to them, theyr laffing at my laffter and not my jokes...

During one of my alone-time adventures to the movie theater, i went to watch 'White Chicks'. I was giggling and laffing softly during the start of the movie...but it got to the 'dont care' stage as the movie progressed. i didnt hear much laffing around me and i kept thinking that its their loss that they dont understand the joke...cause its the same case when i was in secondary school...

during the literature classes, the nice lady teacher (who'll wear this ultra tight green suit and sits on the corner of one of the desk with a 'whoop') will read the book page by page monotonously...but she'll try to make jokes in between the lines she was reading. but the thing was that, not everyone in the class understood her jokes...which means that 1/2 of the class were snoozing away...me on the other hand 'mastered' the art of sleeping with my eyes open. seriously...the next thing i kno, i just did a 'nod'.

okay digress...but the point is, a group of us girls laffed at her joke once...i repeat, once...and the next thing we kno, everytime...i repeat, everytime...she made a joke, she'll turn to us for our 'respond'.

funny funny...funny how a restaurant can undercharge a table when there were only 3 tables left for the night!

-time now 11.48am, at home...on sick leave...getting drowsy from the meds...

my throat feels like a super huge smooth pebble is lodged in it. it hurts everytime i swallow, even my saliva. my cough, dry and really itchy. my nose, running but not runny... just stuck. good thing no migraine, no fever...had those over the weekend. but as bad as this virgin sore throat is my voice is still here! its not gone...i have never experienced no voice b4!! ooh..ears are in 'mono' now...cause of the stuck nose. man...it sucks to get sick...

was stationed at the reception at Skrin finals yesterday. and yes, Shahril won! Big Congratulations to him and Huda. i always believed he'll make it. i got teary eyed when Datuk Yusof Haslam announced he won...u made the Disneyfest team proud!! *big smile*

went to 'Rock Opera' @ Esplanade on Friday night after work with Lin. Being the supporting TV station, we got complimentary tix. yahooo...!! the bestest part of the whole show, i knew that M Nasir composed a few songs...but seeing him on stage again...he performed 'Juwita (Citra Terindah)'...wow!! lemme try this...taken from his performance in APM 2006...

to 'Its ME', THANK YOU / TERIMA KASIH for your hospitality 24 hours a day for all 12 days (i wish it could be more than just 12 days). THANK YOU for being there in person for the first time at the airport, for my first meal at IHOP and making me fall in love with their crispy hashbrown('i thought we going to International House Of Pancakes??' hahaha!!), for taking me to 'close to Singapore' San Francisco, for the cold walk on gorgeous Golden Gate Bridge...

For the short stop to your work, for letting me meet your parents, for 'Kungfu Hustle', 'Dave Chapelle', 'Next Friday', DERAAAMA episodes of 'Maury', the marathon of 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air'...

For Lake Tahoe (lots of firsts for me that u made sure i experienced it there- super icy cold beautiful waterfall, snow (twice!!), pine cones, chipmunk, squirrel, seagulls, fat pigeons, Harrahs jackpot machine *hehe*, Harrahs' buffet (laffed a lot and i think the waiter was jealous of us having so much fun!), the unplanned fireworks on top of MontBleu's grand opening, MontBleu's 20four (laffed so much at your fake French accent with my super cold lobster sandwich staring back at me), the above 7000 elevation at the top of one of the many many mountains in Tahoe, the 'cold breath smoke' in the super chilly nights, the super icy cold waters of Lake Tahoe, the unplanned drive up to magical 'Emerald Bay' (which was worth it cause i got up close to freshly melted snow from the super icy cold waterfall), for the mini trip to 'The Great Mall', for letting me spend time in 'Payless' and the honest comments on how fat my feet look in the strappy wedges-which gives u plenty of time to play 'WormsFort3D' on my fone...hahaha

For enjoying my cooking - nasi lemak with fishball+quail eggs+shrimp unexpectedly spicy sambal (favoured by your mom), corn rice, spring roll, deep fried shrimp batter, 'fear factor' trying out jackfruit, dried shrimp, crispy fried dried anchovies, first dinner at 'Applebee's', 'Marie Callender's Lemon Pie', super windy lunch at 'Boudin', super droolicious 'Popeye's popcorn shrimp', yummy freshly cut and fried french fries at 'In-n-out', your mom's delicious fried catfish and thoughtful yummylicious spaghetti with specially bought cream sauce, yummy 'Semo Sushi', huge portions of seafood from 'Bubba Gump', 'need getting used to' homemade sweet potato pie...

For bringing me to 'Macys', 'Target', showing me downtown San Jose, the poorer side of Oakland, going to Pier 39, driving to Monterey Bay to go to the Aquarium (first free public transport on the MST Trolley), Poseidon, X-Men 3...

think i got it all covered...did i miss out anything??

memories that i will not forget and look forward to more... *big smile*
