Hmmm....
check it...he wasnt the one the camera zoomed @ before the announcement...so cant really tell his reaction...see for yourself... here
anyway, this is much more better...
ok, dont want to get all crazy and post all of his past performances...no doubt the song easy to remember and hum-friendly...but the title like promo for ladies napkin...dont u think?
p.s: dont judge someone...not by how they look or how their relatives succeed or fail in life...btw, how can you tell if you have succeeded? what makes you think u perfect yourself??
Yaaay!!!
when i saw him standing there singing on stage with the first Idol, i thought his chances of being the 2nd to hold the title was slim...honestly.
when he sang with the invited local band, again i didnt see him winning the competition...
at the last few minutes before the lines were closing, i managed to add in 3 more votes...
i seriously didnt believe the mass sms were true...cause the numbers were the same from my lunchtime to when i was on my way there to when i was comfortably seated in the stadium...too bedek (rubbish) to be true...
but in the end, he won...yaay for Hady !!
cause if he didnt...sad sad thing man...but in all fairness, his competition was good. compared to the previous runner up, this 2nd best guy can sing! but pity that, in my opinion, hes not versatile enough...well, he can always venture out to the bigger market in the region cause like what one of the judges mentioned something like with him looking like what he is, he can go far...
check pics below, super duper ecstatic cause he won...yaay!!
apologies to my darling friends cause of the salah (wrong) bus no.70, which i tot will reach to where we were heading to...but had fun having late night seafood
p.s: oh man...big time slappen now...nitey nite.
High Tea
Yes...we were one of those in the queue for the high tea @ Cafe Vienna... *heh* well, when else can all 10 of us gather together on a weekend xcept for lure of $7.80+++ when the normal price for the high tea buffet costs $27/person !!!
reached there at 12noon and the queue were at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the restaurant. when we turned around 15 mins later, the line just reached Pacific Plaza and the next 1/2 hour, it snaked further inside Pacific Plaza...
sadly tho it just had to be when we reached at the end of the line, that we were the ones that had to wait cause all the seats were filled up...but we were determined tho the offer for either we stay and wait for our turn or get a 'complimentary' cookbook of a certain celebrity (1 book per group mind you!)...so we stayed and we finally got a seat (tho not all 10 of us in one table) at approximately 3.10pm...
it was all worth it...cause the plus plus added up to $9.10/person...and of course the company was great too!! darling Syaz was all happy and smily despite the heat and sweat!! hehehe...
enjoy the pics below...

Update on fone...
timecheck 12.02mn...
after the recuperation period, fone seems to be slowly getting back to normal...the radio/charger/handsfree socket didnt work earlier in the morning cause sound was really (very) soft for both radio AND walkman...very mati kutu (helpless) wat to listen to in the train ride to work...didnt want to hear the (irritating) sounds of the train beeping and 'train door closing'...
i like looking out the window of the moving train while standing among the many many other passenger (good thing they showered this morning!!)...would have taken out my book to read (by Mike Gayle) but i still need my pillars to hold on to...
anyway, when i came home from gym...plugged on the handsfree to test out the volume...it worked!! and so far the toggle button and no.5 (which didnt work yesterday) also been doing their thing...nope, confirmed they didnt drown... *heh*
to Shan shan...lucky it didnt fall in toilet water like u said...i tink if it did, i would still take it out...but eeewww...wouldnt want to even think about it falling in there...but red light not there anymore... *phew*
ok, lemme enlighten u on my brief history of handfone ownership...
i have been with the same service provider when i first signed up for a handfone plan in 2001, that means i have the same number since then. but first fone accident, the screen cracked and out of panickness, i got the 'butterfly' fone (the one NOT with the blue backlight)...then was given the upgrade discounts and got my very first colour display fone (this was the one where u can store pictures, listen to radio and send mms). and then i upgraded to my current W550i...my very first camera+MP3+radio+bluetooth fun fone with a whole lot other features i like...i dont do trade-in...i'm sentimental like that...
p.s: i have been having nasi lemak since last Sunday...all by coincidence...and tomorrow a planned makan session but the healthy way...
I dont need this...
Fone W550i recuperating cause it decided to have a really quick dip in soapy water...happened at 4plus Monday...
i panicked and immediately wiped off with toilet paper...'hand dry' it for a bit(far away from the warm air)...then i separated whatever that could be dismantled...blew on the each of the 3 speakers...air dry it for a bit...tried calling out (was able to)...took pics with it (the most important feature!)...all seemed to work and then i noticed the red light on the on/off button...panicked a bit more...
darling Diana researched for FAQs on the fone while i looked for the nearest service centre...was told by the representative that any fault related to water wont be under warranty...
then was advised by 'The Worm' to air dry it the whole night...which is what i'm doing now, timecheck 12.23am, Tuesday morning...i hope it still works cause the last time i turned it on (1 hr ago) all seems ok...no more red light...i dont need this right now...stress ah...
yes femme, its not the end of the world...
p.s: sleepy now...nitey nite...
Simply...STUP!D
what is the fone for if ppl keep bloody shouting to each other...??
loudspeakers are sounding even louder...making my migraine thump harder...seriously
but lucky lucky, the 1/2 hr snooze did miracle for the 'there but not quite there' migraine
-dont pretend to know everything when in actual fact u dont have a clue
-dont play God, or try to...it doesnt work like that
p.s: i dont want to grow old...in exactly a month...can?
He left INK...
'Scent of a Woman' written by Bo Goldman, from screenplay by Ruggero Maccari & Dino Risi, from novel by Giovanni Arpino
Trask: Mr. Sims, you are a cover-up artist and you are a liar.
Slade: But not a snitch!
Trask: Excuse me?
Slade: No, I don't think I will. This is such a crock of shit.
Trask: Mr. Slade, you will watch your language. You are at the Baird School now, not a barracks. Mr. Sims, I will give you one final opportunity to speak up.
Slade: Mr. Sims doesn't want it. He doesn't need to labeled, "...still worthy of being a 'Baird Man.'" What the hell is that? What is your motto here? "Boys, inform on your classmates, save your hide. Anything short of that we're gonna burn you at the stake?" Well, gentlemen. When the shit hits the fan, some guys run and some guys stay. Here's Charlie--facing the fire, and there's George--hiding in big Daddy's pocket. And what are you doin'? You're gonna reward George, and destroy Charlie.
Trask: Are you finished, Mr. Slade?
Slade: No, I'm just gettin' warmed up. Now I don't know who went to this place--William Howard Taft, William Jennings Bryan, William Tell--whoever. Their spirit is dead; if they ever had one, it's gone. You're building a rat ship here. A vessel for sea going snitches. And if you think you're preparing these minnows, for manhood you better think again. Because I say you are killing the very spirit this institution proclaims it instills. What a sham! What kind of show you guys puttin' on here today? I mean, the only class in this act is sittin' next to me. And I say, this boy's soul is intact. It's non-negotiable. You know how I know? Because someone here--I'm not gonna say who--offered to buy it. Only Charlie here wasn't selling.
Trask: Sir, you are out of order!
Slade: Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr.Trask! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too fuckin' blind. If I were the man I was five years ago I'd take a flame-thrower to this place!! Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to? I've been around, you know? There was a time I could see. And I have seen, boys like these, younger than these, their arms torn out, their legs ripped off. But there is nothin' like the sight of an amputated spirit, there is no prosthetic for that. You think you're merely sending this splendid foot-soldier back home to Oregon with his tail between his legs, but I say that you are executing his soul! And why? Because he's not a Baird man. Baird men, you hurt this boy, you're going to be Baird Bums, the lot of ya. And Harry, Jimmy, Trent, wherever you are out there, fuck you too.
Trask: Stand down Mr. Slade!
Slade: I'm not finished! Now as I came in here, I heard those words...cradle of leadership. Well, when the bough breaks, the cradle will fall. And it has fallen here, it has fallen! Makers of men, creators of leaders, be careful what kind of leaders you're producing here. I don't know if Charlie's silence here today is right or wrong; I'm no judge or jury. But I can tell you this: he won't sell anybody out to buy his future! And that my friends is called integrity, that's called courage. Now that's the stuff leaders should be made of. (pause) Now I have come to the crossroads in my life. I always knew what the right path was. Without exception, I knew. But I never took it, you know why? It was too damn hard. Now here's Charlie; he's come to the crossroads. He has chosen a path, it's the right path. It's a path made of principle, that leads to character. Let him continue on his journey. You hold this boy's future in your hands, committee! It's a valuable future. Believe me! Don't destroy...protect it...embrace it. It's gonna make you proud some day...I promise you.
p.s: shit happens in life...we can choose to ignore and continue living our lives and hope shit wont come crawling back to us or wash ourselves clean totally...
No other...
just saw the 'encore telecast' of the Idols and she just killed the song man...!! why her face all scrunched up like that?? she should get some pointers from 'The Ousted One' this week...use her one length bob to cover that scunched up face.
in MY opinion, no other are able to remake 'Iris'...not her not even the Irish lad.
p.s: all confirmed...insyaAllah... *yippee!!!*
Thank you
