Remember 2 weeks ago, the broke (monies-wise) bunch of people were served a yummy lunch by a 'volunteer' fellow colleague? well, last Monday saw us having another yummy lunch...by another happy 'volunteer' colleague! :)

Let the peektures speak for themselves...credits to MrLion for his generosity for the home-cooked lunch - hand-made meatballs et al! We whack and whack! i helped myself 2x! *heh*

Announcing the arrival of my 'Mammut' !! its ages since i dreamt of having this at work...now my dream came true! happiness...

Had lunch at a fast-food place today. Been a while since i went there cause i do not eat the Bird they serve. But such a disappointment as my order of the additional piece of fish was suggested by getting another bloody set meal...wouldnt that be ridiculously hungry to have 2 set meal on my tray (for myself!!) when all i wanted was another piece of fish! Anyway cut story short, they better be looking at their feedback page...done deal!

p.s: moments are great while they last...thank you for the company la! :)

Time now 12.36am...just came home from watching the most talked about sold-out musical for this year...'Puteri Gunung Ledang' (as usual got the last minute tix at 5pm...lucky didnt make any plans after work!)

My thoughts on it...

From start to end, just one word...WOW

The set, the casts, the music, the stage props, the energy of it all...WOW

The lighting - representing movement of water, the passing of time, the flow of blood, shadows of characters...(in one scene i felt like i was starring in the musical cause the super bright lights were on the audience instead of the actual stars themselves! so what i did, u ask? i waved la! *heh* )

The huge stage - representing the the transition from one scene to the next was smooth, with props used fully boasting the super huge stage...

The whole cast and crew deserved the standing ovation at the end.

No disappointment for me cause some scenes from the movie were re-enacted LIVE...like the scene where Princess danced for Warrior and she flicked the flower petals from beneath her 'kain' (robe)...yes, that scene! Even the 'setapak langkah...dua tapak' (one step...2 steps) lines from the movie...when spoken, more impact la...nearly teary eyed! :'(

One character that made an impact on me personally - 'Gusti Adipati Handaya Ningrat' played by AC Mizal...his powerful voice...screaming with anger one moment and then singing the next...wow

To readers who got your tix, good for u. just sit back and enjoy the show...check out the scene by 'Sultan Mahmud' played by Adlin Aman Ramlie...a great dance by a very very happy Sultan! :)

p.s: went to watch 'Bob The Builder' with darling Ain on Wednesday. She enjoyed herself so much...btw, me too! ;)

When i first hear a song, i'll listen to the words...the more i listen to 'Seribu Tahun' (A Thousand Years) by Mister Imran, the more i lurrrve it...

the words are so honest and sincere...plus the tune and the voice, mesmerising and very the goosebump-prone...

later in the afternoon, we had 'deeparaya' at work, in celebration of the 2 recent festivities...food and entertainment galore...and people dressing up...

later that night, met up with my 2 dearest darlings who are my past and my present...whom i havnt seen in a loong time...

p.s: i am thankful for what i have...friends i treasure, darlings i adore and person i sayang... :)

i had a dream last night...i dreamt that i have a white pet puppy....who pee all the time.... *heh*

been a while since we all last met...this time, jalan raya time! :)

tho not all were able to join, we still had fun...what with the 'kuihs', 'nasi beryani', 'laksa', 'mee betawi', 'tulang' - minus me cause i dont understand the way people eat it...knocking and sucking of the lamb bones (cooked in red spicy sauce) to get the jelly out...no thank you. so i accompanied them at the table, dipped a bit of the gravy on a slice of bread and i'm done for the dish.

Reached home at 1am today...took 1/2 day afternoon off for fear of my body shutting down on me...*heh*

i had a ball of a time...travelled by all means possible...air, (train) track, land and sea. met a group of wonderful humour-inducing 'young at heart' ladies...ate a lot, laffed a lot (the most important thing!), shared a lot, dressed up a lot, walked hell of a lot!! :)
