Breko, Breeko, Breeks
But, the destination for our meet-up earlier was neither... *heh* It was a good session.
We went here. I had the 'Apple Currant Tea' which was full of flavours without having to add sugar! Yummy...!
Fun Tuesday, 25th April 2007
Lunchtime was a potluck planned by organiser Yati, who wanted to surprise Diana on her (long overdue) birthday treat. But in the end, organiser herself got surprised... *heh*
Happy Birthday ladies...long belated or coming soon. :)
And speaking of birthdays, (thanks to Alex! and Sani for make-up!) I went to one at night...total 'emo' session - i'm talking about tears 'nearly' falling emo. Altho i was left alone to enjoy the last 1/2 hour or so and I was one of the last few to reach birthday boy at the door after the performance, but check it...i was the first to wish him.
angry angrie
Was reading a fellow blogger's entry on her encounter at the gym and man o man, so conniving and judgemental that bugger was.
On that note, lemme share something...
I have encountered plenty of blunt beings. Straighforward attitude i can handle, but being blunt a.k.a rude is simply unacceptable. Come on now, u can point it out without actually hurting anyone's feelings.
I remember vividly one of my many encounters (this one in a busy shopping mall), some years ago. Wrong approach from the start. A salesperson touched my right arm, caught me unaware of her presence and whispered to me,
'Girl, you want to loose weight? I have this good cream that can make you look slim and pretty'.
Tell me how to react to that?
I brushed her hands off and told her,
'No thank you. I'm happy being fat.'
Of course she persisted and continued with the 'its not healthy, you'll get a lot of sickness' speech to the point where all i hear were 'bla bla bla'.
The next thing i did was shut her voice out, laugh away and walked off...while she was still bla bla bla-ing.
Now that was not funny.
Catching up
Nevertheless, i enjoyed myself.
And knowing that you cant really 'disturb' others who are in - some would say 'sure or not??' situation...lets just say it was comforting for me!! *points to Mr Diva*
Another birthday
Altho this was his 3rd time 'invasion of the newspapers' in his space, i'm just happy that i was part of creating it! :)
Coretan Cinta
hair - at this super ultra spacey place located somewhere you wouldnt even think of...
pedi&mani...
played dressing up last Friday...
helped out over the weekends...
I had fun. There is only so much time...
share with you the song that i remember from the 3rd round earlier today. i kno i'm a bit (more like years) late but from listening to a few (yes a few, not hundreds!) singing 'Coretan Cinta (Scribbles of Love) by Dayang Nurfaizah', i'm in this emo state...and as some would kno, i'm a sucker for such heartbreaking deep simple works...
andai harus ku melangkah pergi, dengan hati memendam rasa sangsi...bukan kemahuan jiwaku, kaulah penghancur hati ini...
(if i must leave, with a heart full of doubts...not what my soul wants, you are the cause of this heartbreak...)
sayang...tegar kau menyepi...tinggal diriku sendiri...gelas-gelas kaca, jatuh berderaian menemani diriku...tiada akhirnya....
(love...you went silent stubbornly...leaving me alone...broken pieces of glasses are my companion...no end...)
tiada, tempat ku mengadu rasa...pergimu telah lama ku redha...masih, tersimpan harapan ku...membina mahligai syahdu...
(no, place for me to turn to...i've accepted your leaving...still, i keep the hope...of building a life together...)
so sad...
Auditions
No offence but when the 200th contestant walked up on stage, raised up the mic and started with 'Kian jauh...', if i was an animation...i would have experienced 'Otorrhea' or 'Bloody- trauma to the canal or basilar skull fracture'.
I am not exaggerating. All 200 chose that song .
But i give them credits cause they stood through the rain and heat.
p.s: So looking forward to the holiday just before the beginning of the weekend this week... :)
