farewell

I have prepared myself for the last day. Psyching and telling myself not to be sad and it somehow did work...Alhamdulillah...

The day ended well indeed...tears flowed reminiscing the times spent and times not being together in the same office anymore. We sang our heart out all the 3 plus hours...eating and laughing with some dancing included. I enjoyed myself. Thank you for the farewell gifts and the unforgettable memories!! :)

So below is a trip down memory lane...sharing with you, dear readers, some of the highlights...

I look forward to start at the new place. Continue something that i love doing but this time, at a different place with a new bunch of people. Wish me luck!!

Farewell gift

I was told by Diana just after lunch that the boss wants to meet us both. But when i peeked into the meeting room, i saw 3 ladies from another department sitting on the sofa instead.

Puzzled, i went in and joined them.

Then came in 2 other ladies who smiled at me.

And then one of them told me, 'I'm going to miss your laughter' followed by 'how long have u worked here?'...'we have something for you'...

That was it. Not only did my eyes water, i cried. All of their consoling didnt help. I was so moved...it touched my heart.

Yeah, i am emotional like that.

And so, all the pictures taken with my 'blushed' nose. So not nice!

They got for me my first metal Swatch watch. :)

Late comer

Think i should be the representative - for those who just reached work but feel like heading home already, and come in at 10am for the next 2 days.

Apa kata??

p.s: Went to get my hair 'banged' today. Need some getting used to. My head do feel lighter!

Now i will lay my pregnant-looking belly, baby ikan paus (baby whale) super kenyang (full) body cause the food was a lot! And it was only the Orchard outlet!!

But i had fun, like always... :)

p.s: Welcome baby Ryan Qaris! He is super cute with loads of hair la!!

Donut factory & gigi girls

Thanks to Lynn now i kno why people, without fail, will queue approximately for 3 hours even when only allowed 2 dozens of them. Missy pinky told me she saw the throng of people queueing up at 10am when they only open at 12.30pm.

So there is a new 2nd branch. I think they should just remain exclusive.

I picked the top left called 'White Strawberry Heart'. Its glazed with strawberry filling. Light & fluffy...super sinfully sweet.

This, never fail to make me laugh...

Change

I welcome change, embrace it with open arms. Change is good. If theres no change, the brain will go stagnant and eventually...dead. God forbid, I do not want that to happen.

When opportunity comes knocking, the only thing to do is grab it. If its meant to be, it will be.

No matter how heavy the heart is to leave, its the only thing to do...knowing deep down it is for the better.

How pretentious and selfish can characters be, it is a wonder.

It is a small world, people talk and they are not stupid.
