Coco before Chanel

She was so ahead of her time, fashion wise. Standing out like a sore thumb among the 'pastries'. Her life was so complicated. It was bittersweet.

Now i know. Its no wonder its still up there.

Words you love to hate.

For me its, 'Tau takpe'. When i hear that spoken, its saying that the other person is stupid. To tell someone is stupid, you are even dumb to be talking to them.

Ha ha!

The lift attendant who after holding the lift for us, disappeared and i saw a pair of legs behind the restaurant's menu standee which belonged to him.

Being in the same lift with the members of one of the bands performing. Only realising after we tuned into the channel and seeing their faces on tv.

I was one of the 'door bitches'. Was tasked to give away concert premiums to those with tickets and stamp on their arm.
The 2 local guys who insisted for a new packet of 'Wet Weather Wear' to be given to them cause one of them wasnt able to neatly fold the raincoat back into the ziplock bag given. Amidst the madness, i noticed him trying his very best to re-fold it back. But in the end they said thank you and walked away. Still holding on to the lump of plastic, without a new one.

The man who took a 'Wet Weather Wear' without asking and me taking it back from him after confirming he didnt have a concert ticket and a stamp on his arm.

The Middle Eastern tourists in the waterpark who insisted to buy the premuims from us and them wanting to see the manager after i said no, 'theyr not for sale, for concert goers with tickets'. I directed them to security instead. It was a sight cause their hair & shorts were plastered cause they just came from the water theme park.

The post party with new wedges. The immediately forgotten numb feet. Thank God i didnt loose my balance this time.

The camera batt which only lasted for 50mins!

In a country and back in less than 24 hrs

Touched down at 9am. Took the flight out the next day at 8.40am. Didnt sleep the night before for fear of waking up late. Only slept less than 3 hours in total - in flight, before the briefing, before the flight home.

Man, i've never pushed myself this much before.

Was tasked with a few colleagues to give away concert merchandise to the 15,000 or so concert goers at the entrance. Stood from 2pm up until 9+pm. It was an experience indeed. Enjoy the video.

Be reminded that the video was taken while walking with numb feet from the entrance of the main area to the mosh pit. Excuse the singing and questions.

The 'N' word

Something to share about the word. Think about the next time you plan or want to use it.

The fallen of the standing

Ok, picture this.

Was waiting for the rest after the performance, we were standing against a wall outside the auditorium. Had my wedges on to go with the 'Popular' theme and was twisting and flexing my right feet when i lost my footing.

Then everything after that went in slo-mo. My left feet gave way. I thought i could balance myself using both my hands, bringing them in front of me. I saw the girls turning to me and wondering what was happening. I heard someone say 'Eh, kakak tu kenapa?' (Eh, whats wrong with her?)

I fell down, backwards. And i landed on my butt.

Everytime i wear that pair, with every step i take, i tell myself i should be careful, should not fall, imagine the embarrassment if i were to fall when crossing the street.

All that didnt happen when i was walking. Instead i fell when i was standing up.
It was hilarious. We laughed so hard. I laughed till i teared...of embarrassment.

Insomnia

Its 3.15am and i cant seem to be able to sleep. Am so going to pay for this at work!!

Catching up.

Its so easy to be happily high with something and forget those who matters most.

Its amazing, bloody freaking amazing.

Had lunch with an old friend. Told her about the weekend migraine attack drama and she told me she wasnt surprised. She herself would have stayed out of my radar until i'm well.

Some get it, and some just dont.

I am so going thru a 'i so do not want to get old' phase.

It will probably end late October.
