So the Wednesday eventually arrived and after a few hiccups, i was on leave the whole day. And so I did a diversion. A cookout diversion. Somewhat to make me look forward to the day.

Mom bought an old school chocolate cream cake complete with red & yellow flowers. And she also got me a portion of 'siput masak lemak'.

No major purchases made on the day just a much needed facial.

The next day a surprise greeted me at work in the form of a gift card. It was nicely and strategically placed. And coincidentally the store had a 50% off storewide. Happiness!

A few days after, the plan for the food expedition happened. We started off from the east with a waffle feast then off for bbq lamb ribs. Some printing needed to be done and while waiting an hour for it, off we went to have dessert. Ended the day with much missed fish&cheese and topped it all off with bubble red tea with pearls.

No matter how much i want to psych myself up, its 13 more days. *BLAH*
